Google's Nearby Share tool for Windows allows seamless transfer of files, photos, videos and text between Android and Windows devices. Although still in beta, it works without any issues. To share text or URLs between devices, users need to download and install Nearby Share on their Windows PC and have an Android phone running version 6 or newer. Once downloaded, users copy the text they want to share and paste it on the app, which will detect it as text and change to "Sharing Text". The user can then select the contact to share it with after ensuring Nearby Share is turned on and enabled.
